When Garth Brooks was in the Capital Region for the first time after 20 years back in March, it was exciting. I don't know if I've ever felt that kind of energy in the Times Union Center before. It truly was an experience rather than a concert.

It was the first time I was able to see the man himself in person and the way he commands a stage is unlike anything else.

I love that he takes time when the "show" is technically "done" and goes through everyones signs that they've brought with them and spent time making to read them, play the songs they've requested or grant wishes.

Jeremy is from Billings, Montana according to his Facebook page and Garth is the reason he picked up a guitar. In fact, the song he requested is the very first he learned. The story is awesome, plus there is more to it and Garth gives a gift to the young man.

Get the Garth view AND Jeremy's point of view for an experience 24 years in the making. Such a beautiful moment between fan and performer...grab a tissue!
