There’s a program that’s in its sixth year, where active duty personnel and retired military personnel can receive a free turkey for Thanksgiving.

‘Turkeys For Veterans’ is courtesy of the law firm of Tully Rinckey PLLC and Hannaford supermarkets.

According to a press release from Tully Rinckey PLLC, on Monday, November 24, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., the turkeys will be given out to Capital Region service members, veterans and family members of those serving abroad that stop by the offices at 441New Karner Road in Albany. Please keep in mind that the turkeys will be available on a first come, first serve basis with proof of military ID, and there’s a limit of one turkey per person.

What a great way to say thank you and to give thanks to those that serve and have served our country.
