According to a press release from C.D.T.A., they’re offering free rides as part of the Capital Region Stop DWI efforts. It's a way to help keep our roadways safe.

CDTA will be offering free service at their regular stops from 8:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve through 1:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 1, 2015 (New Year’s Day). They will also be running on a regular weekday schedule on New Year’s Eve.

If you’re planning to attend First Night Saratoga, C.D.T.A. is offering special Saratoga First Night transportation service for attendees that show their First Night button. That will entitle you to ride free on the regular Saratoga bus routes and also two special shuttle routes. This will be available from 4:00 p.m., New Year’s Eve through 1:00 a.m. on New Year’s Day. If you would like more information, you can always visit CDTA.org.

We want everyone to be safe and happy New Year’s Eve.
