Ford is recalling 350,000 trucks and SUVs in the United States, Canada and Mexico. It includes one of Ford's top selling pick-up trucks in the United States. There is a recall of the Expedition large SUV with ten speed automatic transmission and the 2018 F-150 pick-up. The F-150 is Ford's top selling vehicles in the U.S. Other vehicles affected are the 2018 F-650 and the F-750 trucks with six speed transmissions.

According to CNN, Ford says that on some vehicles, a clip that locks the cable on the gear shift to the transmission might come loose. There is a chance that the truck or SUV might be able to shift into park and take out the key while the transmission is actually in another gear. This could cause the vehicle to roll or unintentionally move.

If your vehicle is at risk, owners will be notified the week of April 16th. Dealers will have to make sure that clip was installed properly and secure it if necessary.

So far, Ford says only one crash has been caused by the problem.
