Flying To Florida? Many More Options This December

For many of us in the Capital Region, Florida is a popular destination. Well now the Albany International Airport has listened and we will have more options than ever starting in December. Starting next month (December 1st), we will have a few more options with airlines we want to fly to destinations in Florida. According to the Times Union, there will be seven choices for us to fly. They are Allegiant, Frontier, American, JetBlue, Delta, Southwest and United.

We always try and fly Southwest from Albany to Orlando. Most of the time we get a non-stop flight and if we change around our dates and times, we are able to use the credit for another flight on Southwest. Also, our first two checked bags are free.

I think it's great that we have more options. Check into all of the carriers to make sure you are getting the best value. For instance, if you book with Allegiant or Frontier, the flights are limited per week and Allegiant flies into airports near the major cities.
