WTEN is reporting that Flood Warnings have been issued for the following areas for Thursday, September 8.  In addition to the flood warnings, Montgomery County has issued a state of emergency.

The National Weather Service In Albany Has Issued A Flood Warning For the following areas:

The Mohawk River At Schenectady
The Mohawk River At Cohoes
The Hudson River At Albany
The Canajoharie Creek Near Canajoharie
The Hudson River at Schuylerville
The Hoosic River At Eagle Bridge
The Schoharie Creek At Prattsville
The Schoharie Creek At Gilboa Dam
The Schoharie Creek At Breakabeen
The Schoharie Creek At Burtonsville
The Rondout Creek at Rosendale
The Canajoharie Creek Near Canajoharie
The Hoosic River At Eagle Bridge

YNN is also reporting that Scotia, Glenville, Niskayuna and the City of Schenectady are bracing for the Mohawk River to crest.

People in the Stockade area of Schenectady are being asked to leave the area since it is known to flood.
