As two Albany firefighters were on their way responding to a call, a flash grenade was allegedly thrown into the cab of the truck.

This happened on Friday. The flash grenade, according to firefighters, was a M-80. It had landed in between the two firefighters.

Both firefighters went to Albany Medical Center where received treatment for ringing in their ears, and then released.

In the story from WNYT, both firefighters will not be able to work right away. There was no word where this happened
