Five Things You Might Want To Do For The Labor Day Weekend [List]

It’s hard to believe that Labor Day is almost here.

Even though we still have a few more weeks of summer, according to the calendar, this is considered the unofficial end of summer. There will still be some nice weather for a while, so you don’t have to bring in the patio furniture. Although the thought of not having to mow the lawn for awhile is somewhat enjoyable.

Here’s a list of some things that I think a lot of people will do over the holiday weekend.

Back to school shopping
This could be the last chance to get the young ones ready for school, unless you’re lucky enough to have already done this.

Barbecue or grilling outside
Burgers, hot dogs, chicken, etc., it’s all good.

Picnicking
Could be part of number 4, but heading out to somewhere like Thacher Park, just to get out of the backyard.

Go to the Columbia County Fair or Schaghticoke Fair
The Schaghticoke Fair and The Columbia County Fair are the final Albany area fairs of the summer.

Nothing
If you have any of the holiday weekend days off from work, just kick back and relax.
