Most of us really love to spend time outside during the summer months, especially on those warm nights. Sitting with friends and having a few drinks, just plain old relaxing. Next thing you know, here come the mosquitoes. You try swatting them away and even put a repellent on your skin, but you always seem to get bitten anyway. Your mom always told you not to scratch the itch. Mom was right, but that’s easier said than done. You just want to stop the itching. Well, it happened to me a few days ago. So I did a little research for a remedy and I thought I would pass the information on to you. I borrowed a few ideas from Wikihow.com and Householdpests.org, plus threw in one of my own.

5) Baking Soda

Mix it with a tablespoon with a pint of water, and then put the paste on the bite. After it’s been on for a little while, wash it off.

4) Any type of hydrocortisone cream

Things like Aloe Vera gels and Vicks Vapor Rub are supposed to stop the itch.

3) Apple Cider Vinegar

After you’ve had some to drink, apply the rest to the bite.

Let me start by saying that this isn’t an endorsement, nut this one works the best for me. A friend of mine told me this a long time ago. In fact, it’s even mentioned as one of it’s uses on the label. It stings like hell but it does work.
