Five Albany Area Places To Take Mom For Mother’s Day Dinner (LIST)

Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 13. It’s a day to tell your mom thanks for everything she does for you. Some people have certain women in their lives that are like a second mother. If that’s the case, you can take your substitute mom, too.

Whatever your plans are, it a great day to treat your mom to dinner, so here are some suggestions that I think you will find very useful. A lot of places will require reservations. Your choice will probably be made by the restaurant’s location.

5) Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse

Delmonico’s is on Central Avenue in Colonie. Most people like the Steak, but I love the veal parmigiana.

4) The Reel Seafood Company

If your mom’s favorite is seafood, then The Reel Seafood Company on Wolf Road in Colonie, is a perfect choice.

3) Verdile’s Restaurant

Verdile’s in North Troy is another great choice for Italian cuisine.

2) The Water’s Edge Lighthouse

You can head to Glenville for a special Mother’s Day menu with a variety of choices. The Water’s Edge Lighthouse has a beautiful scenic view of the Mohawk River.

1) Red Robin

Maybe your mom prefers a not so fancy place, and just wants a great burger. You can always go to Red Robin. There’s one in Clifton Park and one in Latham.
