Fish FOR Free In New York This Weekend

As we get ready for the first full weekend of Summer 2017, get your fishing gear ready!

This Saturday and Sunday, June 24 & 25, are the next 2 free fishing days here in the state of New York. That means you can hit the lakes and streams without a fishing license.

So if you are new to fishing or just looking to get back into it, this is a great time to get out and see what you can pull out of some local fishing holes. The New York State Department of Conservation says licenses are not required, but all other regular rules and regulations will apply.

After the weekend of June 24 & 25, there be one more free fishing day in 2017 -  Saturday, November 11 (Veteran's Day).
