Fire At Horse Barn At Saratoga Casino & Raceway

An early morning emergency call was made on Friday to the Saratoga Springs Police and Fire Departments for a horse barn fire on the grounds of Saratoga Casino And Raceway, near Gridley Avenue.

In the story from News 10 ABC, about 20 horses were evacuated from the burning structure, Barn 15, and are all safe.

Public safety personnel along with security staff and employees assisted in getting the horses out of the barn. The fire was under control in a short amount of time, and is still being investigated. It was an electrical fire and being considered accidental.
