Finally Went To The Rivers Casino

Over the weekend, Jenn's mom and aunt came to visit. So we thought it was time to go to the Rivers Casino. I had asked a lot of people their opinion of the new casino and got mixed reviews, mostly negative so I was anxious to see for myself.

We went on Saturday night and thought it may be too crowded. My mom, who was the only one out of the group who had been there before, felt as if I would be disappointed when I went. She knows that I have been to many other casinos and she thought the new casino was small in comparison.

When we got there I was pleasantly surprised. It was very open, new and there was a good vibe of people but not too many. I wound up sitting at a blackjack table for a couple of hours and had a blast. The people were so friendly and the dealers were fun and helpful. Plus, it didn't hurt that I broke even.

So I guess I write this in hopes that if you haven't been to the Rivers Casino yet, go for yourself. Go with an open mind and don't listen to the haters. You may find you actually might enjoy yourself. I sure did.
