It wasn’t someone selling drugs or speeding in their car. It was a fawn that was trapped because it was tangled in Christmas lights.

In the story from News 10 ABC, Hudson Police Officer Kevin Sweet saw the fawn in the back yard. When he went to help, the fawn tried to run, but couldn’t because the Christmas lights were wrapped around its legs and neck.

After some gentle coaxing of the frightened fawn, by gently talking to the animal, Sweet was able to grab the plug and then cut the lights, freeing the fawn. Before the fawn ran, he actually took a last look at Sweet, the man that saved him.

Officer Sweet used his cell phone to record what was happening. The video was posted in the story from News 10 ABC.
