Fatal Stabbing In Schenectady Due To Loud Music

Courtesy of Flickr user Tony Webster

This is sad. 27 year old Tina Karuzas of Schenectady has been charged with First Degree Manslaughter after she fatally stabbed her neighbor.

The victim who died as a result of a stab wound in her abdomen was Latoya Ebron, who had a small daughter.

Ebron reportedly went upstairs to tell Karuzas to turn her music down to an acceptable level so she could put her daughter to sleep. Apparently Karuzas did not comply and Ebron went back upstairs to ask her to turn the music down. An argument escalates and Karuzas stabbed Ebron, she reportedly issued a statement to police saying it was in self defense.

Here’s the whole sad story.
