Facebook Hash-tags? Can They Even Do That? #copyingtwitter

It seems like every day there is a new feature on Facebook that we have to get used to!  Well, there may be another one coming soon!

I don’t know about you, but I have both a Facebook and Twitter account.  I use them for different reasons.

Facebook I use to keep up with people near and far and update them on the happenings in my life.  I love to post pictures and look at the pictures others put up. I like the celebrity and sports updates on Twitter.  I do like that I can search “hashtags (#)” for topics, and making up hashtags with some of my tweets just to be funny.

Well, now Facebook may give Twitter the biggest form of flattery, by introducing their own “hashtag- Like” feature, to make it easier to search topics!

I don’t know how I feel about this at all.  I don’t really use the Twitter hashtag search that much, but I know people do.  TV shows, like The Voice, use them each week for viewer feedback.  But they also have their own Facebook pages to look at for feedback there.

I also don’t really search topics on Facebook.  I search people more than topics.  I like to see what they are up to more than I care to see how everyone feels about the latest contestant on The Voice.

What do you think? Should they both have the same features?  Now, there is no official announcement on this, just something it's reported they are thinking about adding to our Facebook accounts. What do you think they should add?
