How often do you look at Facebook during the day while you work? Probably just enough to stay informed informed, while keeping up with the demands of the job.  Facebook just announced a partnership that may make you a tad less productive at work (don't worry, we won't tell) with this potentially historic new sports merger.

Facebook has signed an exclusive deal with the MLB to stream 25 afternoon games, according to Bloomberg. Could this be just the tip of the iceberg for the social media giant? Possibly. As a multitude of competing content providers continue to be more accessible than ever, Facebook is joining in on the fun.

According to Yahoo.com, Facebook's first game will be on April 4 between the Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Mets.

Facebook, Twitter and Amazon and other tech companies are in a race to acquire sports streaming rights, both because it can be lucrative, and because it can potentially boost user loyalty.
