Events Wednesday, August 12th at Saratoga Race Course

I thought I would pass along some of the incredible events going on at Saratoga this week.  

There's so much going on I could do five blogs about this. To summarize, on Wednesday it's Irish American Heritage Day. The feature Irish music dancing entertainment and food from 11am to 5 pm in the Saratoga Pavillion.   Make sure you wear your green!  The wife of famous dance Gene Kelly will be there!

The Battle of Saratoga Handicapping Challenge Tournament will be going on there.  Over 200 horse players will be fighting it out for $250,000 in prize money. I'll be doing that in the upper carousel area.

Season Pass Appreciation Day will also be featured to help you get over the hump on this midweek racing day.

 All Saratoga season pass and season-long reserved seat ticket holders will receive a 15 percent discount at the NYRA Store each Wednesday of the meet. The discount is available to season pass holders who present their season pass and to season ticket holders who show their new season ticket holder perks card at participating on-track locations.
