Ellis Hospital Providing Elite Heart Care

In December of 2015, my world was rocked when my best friend died suddenly of a heart attack at the age of 42.  I learned the hard way not to take heart care for granted. If you feel that you may be having heart issues, you MUST NOT ignore the signs, and choosing a quality hospital is essential.

My best friend Joe (affectionately referred to as Poker Joe) never made it alive to the hospital. He died on the way in an ambulance.  I was later informed by a heart care specialist that the data shows that if you suffer a heart attack and make it to the hospital alive, your survival rate is over 90%.  I wish Joe made it to the hospital.  Any hospital. Not a day, a minute, or a second goes by that I don't think about that.
