Electronic Newspapers – The Wave Of The Future? [Video]

Have you heard about this new contraption where you can be reading your newspaper on this thing called a home computer?

These companies that publish newspapers are going to start putting their stories into these computers via a telephone. They’re calling it an electronic newspaper.

This has got to be a joke. No one has a computer in their home. The only way to get a newspaper is to either have it delivered to your house, or go to the store and buy it. I think somebody’s been smoking something other than cigarettes.

That’s what a lot of us thought back in 1981, when we heard that someone was starting to put these electronic newspapers together. It's hard to believe that there was a time that we didn't any of the electronic devices that we currently have.
