East Greenbush Man Arrested For A Sunday Night Fight

A 29-year-old East Greenbush man has been arrested for his involvement in a fight on Sunday Night.

It happened in a parking lot at an apartment complex.

In a press release from the East Greenbush Police, Kenneth A.Vaughns, who lives at the complex, was arrested. Witnesses to the brawl at 737 Columbia Turnpike in East Greenbush called 911 to say that five or six people were fighting and that one person was pointing a handgun at others. When the police got there, the fighters ran in all directions.

Based on some information from a witness and some other evidence, Vaughns was charged with criminal possession loaded firearm second degree, menacing second degree, criminal possession of defaced firearm third degree and first degree reckless endangerment. He was sent to Rennselaer County Jail after he was arraigned before East Greenbush Town Justice Diane Schilling. January 13 will be the preliminary hearing.

I'm glad they at least got this guy. At least there’s one trouble maker off the streets.
