Country singer David Lee Murphy landed on the Country charts with his self-penned hits 'Party Crowd' 'Dust On The Bottle' and 'Every Time I Get Around You' in the mid-90s. Although his name may not sound familiar to today's country music fans, there's no doubt you will know many of the hit songs he's written.

It's not that uncommon to see an artist switch from singing on stage to writing songs behind the scenes.
