Why did this happen?

Five Guys is super yummy! And trust me, when I'm drunk, I love a cheeseburger!  But I'm really trying to wrap my head around this story, and I just can't.

A Queensbury dude is facing numerous charges after the alleged theft of gallons of peanut oil from a Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Queensbury. Then, he fled driving drunk, according to the Warren County Sheriff's Office.

Joshua D. Hadden, 34, of Queensbury was arrested after police stopped him for speeding on Route 9 just before 10 p.m.

He allegedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.12 percent, and was charged with misdemeanor counts of petit larceny, driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.

Hadden was released pending prosecution in Queensbury Town Court.

But we still don't know why! Why did you allegedly steal the oil, sir?  Did you need to fry something? Do you have an oil-powered vehicle? Do you have your own restaurant and are low?

I need answers, and frankly, now I need a cheeseburger.
