Drones Prove Vital Tool in Searches For Missing Persons

With the growing popularity of the usage of drones, it's great to see that there are more and practical and serious reasons.

We all know that drones are becoming the new toy of the future. Besides being a toy, or even being used as an American flag back drop during the big game behind Lady Gaga.

A few months ago, I came across an article where a man's neighbor was having a barbecue and he sent a drone to grab a a few bratwursts. Well, it was an FAA violation so he got in a little it of trouble.

However, nowadays there a better reasons drones are being used besides just for recreation.

According to the Times Union, a man in Poesten Kill went missing and drones were a heavily used tool in the search. They are an easy way to get pictures and video.

I think this is a fascinating tool and, hopefully, the technology behind drones can continue to improve tho help with missing persons.
