Driving a Boat Intoxicated is Also Illegal – Local Man Finds Out the Hard Way

As Memorial Day Weekend comes to a close, we had some absolutely amazing weather to have the unofficial kick off to Summer. With that came a lot of outdoor activities, barbeques and of course getting out on the local waterways. But for David T. Kulska of Amsterdam the weekend didn't end on a high note. Depending on how you're defining the word any way.

State Police Marine Patrol arrested Kulska on Great Sacandaga Lake Saturday, charging him with BWI - boating while intoxicated. They had noticed he was driving the boat recklessly near Scout Island in the town of Broadalbin. He was stopped and arrested in Mayfield.
