This was a two pronged reason for going to Schenectady this past Sunday.  First I was walking around while waiting for Dorrie to get something that she forgot at her place of work, and it gave me an opportunity to try out the camera on the iPhone 6s to see if it lives up to the hype.  So here we go

Downtown Schenectady is an interesting place.  (Sorry downtown Albany, but I think you are getting a little bit of a run for your money.

Personally I think they do a better job at the present time of providing all different kinds of experiences -from top shelf off Broadway shows to interesting and trendy bars and restaurants. (Wow-nice way to tick off Albany, Richie!)

I digress -but then again, not. Here are just a couple of the very diverse things I found on just one street in the Little Italy section (near Perreca's and Cornell's)

Did you know they have a Green Market there EVERY WEEK?

Now within walking distance, I also found this… talk about diversity!

A Harley Davidson biker bar.  Cool!  It was closed but the owner let me inside!

A tap made out of a bike engine.. How cool is that?

Ok, and one more Green Market shot.  I forgot to hype the band!

(sorry, I didn't get the name of the group)

It was a great Saturday morning in the Electric City.

You should check it out!
