Downtown Albany Road Closures Near Times Union Center

Donald Trump is holding his rally tonight at the Time Union Center. If you plan on heading downtown this evening, be prepared to work around some closed roads and a parking ban.

Today's a big day for campaign visits in the Capital Region with Trump, Bernie Sanders, and John Kasich all visiting. As far as travel in the area, Trump's rally will cause the biggest disturbance. Doors for Trump's rally will open at 4pm, and Donald will speak from 7 to 9pm. According to the Albany Police Facebook page, South Pearl Street from Beaver Street to Hudson Avenue will be closed to ALL TRAFFIC until Midnight.

There will also be No Parking until Midnight on both sides of South Pearl Street from State Street to Market Street.

At this time there is no word on the availability of tanning booths near the Trump rally.
