Someone walked into the Xtra Mart on the corner of New Scotland Avenue and Quail Street in Albany and walked off with a donation collection can, not once, but twice.

From a story on News 10 ABC, the money was to be used for the Jennifer Creed Fund, which helps families dealing with childhood cancer.  Albany Police are investigating the thefts that happened on January 19, and then again four days later, after a second donation can was on the counter.

The person they’re looking for is described as a 5’10” white male. He has scruffy blond - grey facial hair. At the time he was last seen wearing tan pants, white sneakers and a grey knit hat. If you have any information about this guy, call the Albany Police at 518-438-4000. I hate hearing about people stealing anything needed for charity.
