Dolly Parton returns to the big screen Friday, January 13 with her first major motion picture since 1992's 'Straight Talk.'

Dolly Parton, who will be 66 on January 19, will co-star with Queen Latifah in 'Joyful Noise' as rival choir directors.  The musical movie is sure to be a hit in this popular 'Glee' television era. The fun flick is filled with music from all genres, including Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney.  However, the Country Music Hall of Famer did an original composition titled 'From Here To The Moon,' which she performs with Kris Kristofferson on the movie's soundtrack.

Dolly Parton's hit movies include '9 to 5' 'The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas' 'Steal Magnolias' and 'Straight Talk'.  The big-haired diva has also produced small screen favorites 'A Smoky Mountain Christmas' and 'Blue Valley Songbird.'   In addition to several cameos ('Miss Congeniality 2' 'Beverly Hillbillies') and television appearances ('Reba' 'Hannah Montana'), she received an Oscar nomination for writing 'Travelin' Thru' for the movie Transamerica.
