Country and pop fans can count their lucky stars! OneRepublic teamed up with country singer Dierks Bentley for a rousing rendition of 'Counting Stars' for 'CMT Crossroads.'

It's a collaboration that has generated excitement across the music spectrum since its announcement, and fans waiting for a glimpse of the partnership don't have to wait any longer to see what OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder and 38-year-old Bentley had up their collective sleeves.

While the full episode of 'CMT Crossroads' will be aired later in March, with collaborations on Bentley's new album 'Riser' and OneRepublic's 'Native,' this glimpse into the partnership is worth the drawn-out wait.

Even though 'Counting Stars' is more uptempo than the country singer's usual performances, Bentley kept up with Tedder's intensely high energy as they jumped, sang and paced the stage for the entire four-and-a-half minutes.

Both donning leather jackets, the singers let 'Counting Stars' sound like the pop hit it is, but additional components of a banjo, mandolin and tambourine really give it a country vibe.

At the end of the performance, Bentley gives fans an unexpected surprise, jumping into the crowd to do a little surfing.

'CMT Crossroads' shows that great music knows no boundaries, pairing the far-reaching roots of country music with musicians from other genres. Each episode features a different set of stars playing together and ultimately sharing their common love of music. The episode with Bentley and OneRepublic will air March 21 on CMT. There, they'll also trade stories from their lives and careers.

Other recent pairings on 'CMT Crossroads' include Lady Antebellum with Stevie Nicks and the Band Perry with Fall Out Boy.
