Development Of Monument Square In Troy
There has been a lot of bad news coming out of Troy, lately, but now we can pass along some good news.
The section of Troy in the downtown area called Monument Square could be showing some big improvements. At the site of the former city hall, there are plans for the Monument Square Redevelopment Project which will include things like increased area for the farmer’s market, some apartments, underground parking and several other changes.
In the article from The Troy Record, the plans will be discussed at a planning committee meeting on Tuesday afternoon. The area is also adjacent to Troy’s Riverfront Park. There’s also more information about the project at the City Of Troy website.
