Destiny and Nautica are 10 year old Shepherd girls who came to Rottie Empire in December after ending up at a local shelter. Their elderly owner passed away and the family was unable to re home them. The girls quickly declined at the shelter so with the help of Rottie Empire Rescue and a very generous sponsor they were moved to Milton Manor where they could be together and wait for a foster home.

Destiny is a loyal, confident, strong willed female. She is a dog who will be by your side all the time. She loves to go for walks, car rides and to play outside. She may be 10 yrs old but she has a lot of spunk left in her. She is dog social and does very well as long as she can be the boss. J She is great with cats and is no bother to them. She loves kids and all the attention she gets from them. Destiny is a wonderful companion dog. Destiny is currently on Rimadyl for some arthritis in her back end. But she does not let it stop her one bit!

Nautica is a sweet as can be. She is goofy, gentle and a complete love. She loves to be with people and snuggle in for belly rubs. Nautica is dog social, great with cats and loves children. Nautica just melts your heart when you look into her big brown eyes. She is young at heart but unfortunately comes with special needs. Nautica has a partially paralyzed larynx which makes it difficult for her to pant correctly and efficiently. Because of this she has a hard time when she gets excited or over active. It makes it difficult for her as well to regulate her body temperature. She also has issues with her legs. She has arthritis in her back end and one of her front legs has tendon issues. With that, an ideal home would be one with little to no stairs and a home with air conditioning for the warm weather days. Once you meet Nautica you see past her “disabilities” and see an amazing dog who has lots of love to give someone
