Delays For Some Commuters On Interstate 90 Bridge

If you’re a commuter that has to travel over the Hudson River between Albany and Rensselaer, you may consider finding a different route.

Construction on the Patroon Island Bridge will begin Friday night (May 30) at 8:00 p.m. and continue through most of the summer. Most people will be glad that the construction will mostly be done at night.

In the story from CBS 6 Albany, the eastbound and westbound lanes of I-90 will be down to one lane. Most of the ramps from I-787 to I-90 will be closed during the construction periods. Most of those will be closed starting every weeknight beginning at 6:00 p.m. but will reopen around 6:00 a.m.
