If you're like me, there are things in life that you just can't bring yourself to like.  For some people, it might be a particular food (avocado toast anyone?) or the latest fashion trend (80s short shorts?).  For me, it is country music. Wait!  Before you close that tab, hear me out. I can explain.Contrary to what you might think, I am a lover of all music.  I can list you any number of artists and bands I hold fondly in my heart.  From jazz fusion to heavy industrial metal, I love it all. When it comes to country, it just doesn't do it for me.  It's all very... boring, right?

And don't even get me started about the instrumentation.  Here's your cardboard cutout lineup of a country music act; twangy electric acoustic guitar, twangier guitar, MAYBE a bass, a banjo, drum kit, and a guy or gal (sometimes MULTIPLE guy and/or gals) with a Southern/Midwestern drawl on lead vocals.  Where's the variety in that?

Sure, maybe Brad Paisley is one of the best guitarists of the last quarter century with a wicked sounding rig.  And maybe I did tap my foot A LITTLE BIT during the Justin Moore set at Country Fest.  You know... maybe I am talking myself into this country music thing... Maybe.

Anyway, here's the newest episode of "Two Worlds, One Flannel".  Enjoy!
