On Monday afternoon, we had the pleasure of having one of the nicest people and rising star Ruthie Collins stop by the WGNA studios. We had the chance to talk to her and hear her perform some of her music for us. Ruthie had her two "band guys" with her, Wes and Phil.

She told us that she's actually from Fredonia, in western New York. Ruthie's website has more information about her introductory EP "Vintage," and talks about her 1984 Jeep Wagoneer. She admitted to me that she loves all things vintage. Proof of that is in her YouTube video trailer.

Her current single is a Hank Williams, Sr. song called "Ramblin' Man." Here's part of our interview and Ruthie's performance of the song "Trainwreckin."
