Now this isn't the first time something like this happened over there either.  Another guy was found dead in an internet cafe in Taipei on January 1st after staring at his screen for 5 days straight.

Should we have sympathy for these people?  Why was I snickering when I read this?  Have I become callous?  Indifferent?  Cynical?
