Construction To Begin On Fuller Road Near Washington Avenue In Albany
If you need to travel around the Albany area, around Fuller Road near Washington Avenue in Albany in particular, you may want to find another route. Beginning Monday, April 2nd, another phase of an ongoing construction project will begin. It’s the area on Fuller Road near the entrance ramp to I90 west in Albany. This is the ramp that you take when you go from Fuller Road to go to the Thruway exit 24 tolls and the Northway.
As I took a look back, it was one year ago that construction started on Fuller Road from Central Avenue in Colonie to Railroad Avenue.
According to the Albany County website, the whole project will be finished by the summer of 2013. When it’s done, the entire length of Fuller Road from Central Avenue to Western Avenue will have been reconstructed. This could include some more roundabouts and the realignment of Fuller Road and Washington Avenue Extension near the College Of Nanoscale Science And Engineering. There’s ongoing construction on Washington Avenue Extension around CSNE.
