Congratulations From WGNA to The Class of 2011
Thousands of great kids with bright eyes and big smiles will be donned in caps and gowns this weekend for high school graduation ceremonies all over the Albany region.
A large percentage of these kids are ready to work hard all Summer long and bank as much money as they can for the first semester of college in September. Some are still trying to figure out what their next step is in life. Regardless, all graduates should take this time to see and hug their friends and enjoy this time of great accomplishment and pride for themselves and their families. Some may be heading to college locally at St. Rose, Siena, Skidmore, SUNY Albany, HVCC, SCCC, or SUNY Adirondack to name a few. Please be careful on the roads this weekend. there will be many graduation parties hosted for the great kids by proud parents all over the area. Don’t drink and drive, and let’s celebrate smart. We’re all very proud of you 2011 graduates here at Country 107.7, WGNA-FM.
Are you graduating? Are you the parent or family member of a graduate this year. Please comment on this story with the graduate’s name and the school they are graduating from and Country 107.7 WGNA-FM will give them some on air props today and throughout the weekend. Class dismissed!
