Colin Raye’s My Kinda Girl — Flashback Friday [VIDEO]

As we come to the end of another week, it's time once again to break out another great song and video from the past with this week's edition of Flashback Friday. This week we go back to 1994 for a number one hit from Colin Raye, "My Kinda Girl".

The fourth single from Colin's album "Extremes", "My Kinda Girl" was released in November of 1994. It reached the top of the Billboard Country Charts a few months later in February of 1995 for Colin's 3rd career #1 Single. Colin would only chart one more #1 single in the 90s but would have plenty of top 5's along the way.

These days, Colin is still touring and still making music. Recently he released a spiritual and inspirational album called "His Love Remains", an album he made for his granddaughter Haley who passed away in 2010 due to a rare neurological disease.  Colin is also a social activist. In September of last year he became the national spokesperson for the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network.
