Cohoes Hostage Situation

UPDATE @ 2:20PM

It appears that the situation is over. Police now have a suspect in custody after surrounding the Cohoes home he was held up in. Information was scarce but the suspect was allegedly involved with an overnight robbery in which an elderly man was assaulted.

Even though the SWAT team was on hand including a New York State Police helicopter, the situation ended peacfully.

Original Report:

Are you in Cohoes? Are you seeing anything going on?
