CMT News will air a special focusing on the life and tragic death of Mindy McCready Sunday March 10th at 8 pm.

The hour long special will be hosted by CMT's Katie Cook and feature never seen before footage and interviews with country artists Ty Herndon, Richie McDonald, Lorrie Morgan and Jimmy Wayne. There will also be interviews with record producers David Malloy and Norro Wilson. Eric Hughes, McCready's child custody lawyer who spoke with her the Thursday before she died.

McCready burst onto the country music scene in 1996 with her hit debut single "Ten Thousand Angels and died of a self inflicted gun shot wound on February 17th.
