Clifton Park Man Rolled Car While Driving Drunk

A 22-year-old Clifton Park man crashed his car on Friday night on Lake Shore Drive, in the Hampton Lake Town Park in East Greenbush.

In a press release from the East Greenbush Police Department, Stephen M. Frost was driving drunk when he crashed his car through a guard rail, rolled his car over a chain link fence and struck a building. He was able to crawl out from his car and only had minor injuries. Frost refused medical attention.

The officer that conducted the accident investigation estimated that Frost was driving more than 20 mph over the posted speed limit. Frost was given a sobriety test when it was discovered that he had a blood-alcohol content of .15%, almost twice the legal limit. Frost was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Open Container of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle, Speeding and Unsafe Lane Change. He will be scheduled to appear in East Greenbush Town Court at a later date.

Lake Shore Drive is a road that goes along the shore of the Hampton Lake which is used frequently by people walking or jogging. It’s a good thing that no one was hit by this guy.
