Click “Like” Button for a Facebook Job
February 10, 2011 1:47 AM Social media has exploded as a way of life for so many people: Friends finding other friends. Putting the lyrics to a song for your status because that explains how you feel. There was even a movie about it. Imagine having part of your Facebook status as “employed by Facebook”, not to mention as an employer on your resume’. This could be a reality.
The CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg stated that he has plans to increase the company’s work force by as much as 50 percent. They wanted to hire more employees back in 2008, but do to the stock market crash, that plan was put on hold.
They’re also planning to move from their present location in Palo Alto, California, which just had a ribbon cutting about a year and a half ago, to a bigger complex, just a few miles away in Menlo Park.
I wonder if you decide to quit the Facebook job you can just post your two weeks notice in your status bar?
