‘Christmas Wish’ Left By Man’s Wife Will Have You In Tears

For years, Des Moines radio station KSTZ “Star” 102.5 FM has been granting a “Christmas Wish” to someone from the community around this time of year. But this year, they granted a very special wish requested by a woman who passed away in 2011.

Brenda Schmitz died of ovarian cancer two years ago, according to The Huffington Post. But before she did, she penned a letter to the radio station and asked a friend to anonymously send it in only after her widowed husband, David, had moved on and met someone else to share his life and family of four boys with.

The reading of Brenda’s letter, her wishes, and David’s emotional reaction, was caught on video:
