Chicago News Station Reports A TV Show’s Airplane Crash As Breaking News! [VIDEO]

We all make mistakes in the media, so far be it from me to fault another media source for an honest mishap.  This however is something you would thin could only happen on April Fool’s Day, or during the first radio airing of, “War of the Worlds”.

I just saw this video this morning and I think I have watched it at least 5 times. It cracks me up every time I watch. It seems the NBC show “Chicago Fire” was shooting a scene where a plane crashes on a highway in Chicago. Unfortunately for TV news station WGN, everyone seem to know it but them.

I am very curious what your favorite parts will be, make sure after you watch you leave a comment at the bottom of the page and tell me what you liked the best. Maybe it’s the off the cuff, “reporting” as they try to figure out just when and how a plane crashed on a bust thorough fair and nobody noticed? Maybe it’s the sheer anger the female anchor shows after finding out they were reporting on a fake set for a TV show. Perhaps you like the quick wit of the weatherman? Either way, let me know.

Here is the video for your enjoyment:
