Is there an original idea in Hollywood? That is the question everyone asks when sequels are announced. We all say how tired we are of bringing back the same movie plots over and over with just a little added twist, and yet they sure do make a whole lot of money. As we are on the verge of seeing what should be the highest grossing film of all time, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," another remake's trailer hits the internet. So, will I continue to fund Hollywood's sequels with my hard-earned money by buying a ticket? You bet I will!

Listen, I admit there are a whole lot of remakes that never should have been made, heck I still wish I could go back in time and beg Hollywood to never make another "Matrix" after the original. Ugh, they were so painful. Yet, to me there are some films that just beg for another installment and "Independence Day" may just be one of them. I think the trick will be to not expect too much from the movie but just enjoy the look into what we all thought when the original was finished. "What if they come back? What if they come back really angry?"
