Football season is over, so now it's time for me to get ready for another one of my favorite sports, NASCAR We are a few weeks away from the Super Bowl of motorsports on February 26th in Daytona Beach Florida. Tony Stewart will be look to defend his Championship that he won this past November in dramatic fashion. Of course the likes of Dale Earnhardt Jr, Jeff Gordon, Jimmy Johnson, Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch and the rest of the pack will look to take that crown away from him. We will also have to see if another underdog wins the big race much like Trevor Bayne did last year.

The sport has come a long way from being a good ol' boy sport which is evident in it's popularity these days. It also shows with the amount of celebrites that have taken part in the Daytona 500 festivities over the years. Nicholas Cage, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey and countless other celebrites have made appearances.

This year is no different as WWE superstar John Cena will be the official starter of the race waving the green flag.

If that wasn't enough, the cast of the upcoming movie The Three Stooges will also be taking part. Sean Hayes, Chris Diamantopoulos and Will Sasso who play Larry, Moe and Curly will deliver the green flag to Cena. I can assume there will be some slapping and eye poking as all this is being done. Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk. Two other stars of the Movie, Jane Lynch and one of my current celebrity crushes Kate Upton will be the Grand Marshalls for the event and they will deliver the most famous words in motorsports, "Gentlemen, Start Your Engines".

This years event will have it all for me. I already would tune in for the the race anyway. But now you add in the WWE, The Three Stooges and the stunning beauty that is Kate Upton and you have me hooked!

Still no word on who will sing the National Anthem for the event this year but I'm sure they will be great, after all Martina McBride was the Anthem singer last year!
