Celebrate Peanut Butter In November

It's November, and as we get ready to stuff our turkeys, it's time to think about Peanut Butter because it's "Peanut Butter Lovers Month." That's right, there's a month for one of the most popular foods in America. When you were a kid, you mom probably made you that good old classic - Peanut Butter and Jelly (or PB&J).

Maybe you had the sweet tooth and enjoyed a "Fluffernutter" - Peanut Butter with Marshmallow Fluff on a couple of slices of bread. I almost forgot about that one, until my daughter, Valerie brought some home the other day.

Even the king of rock and roll loved Peanut Butter. On of Elvis Presley's favorites was grilled peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

There's also a club for the Peanut Butter lover in your life - The Peanut Butter Of The Month Club.

One of the old classic tv shows was about a talking horse - "Mr. Ed." A little known fact about getting Mr. Ed to look like he was talking was with Peanut Butter.

I still enjoy a PB&J for lunch. It's quick and easy to make, not to mention inexpensive. When was the last time that you had something made with Peanut Butter. Peanut Butter Cups qualify.
