Richie Phillips posted a story recently about Rolling Stone magazine's picks for the best country albums of 2012. I will admit they are some decent picks and certainly deserve to have a listen. I thought I would do the same and pick out my favorite country albums that came out sometime this year.
After a week off for a well deserved vacation I am back with another edition of Flashback Friday. Saturday (12/8) is Former Shenandoah lead singer Marty Raybon's 53rd birthday. So it's seems appropriate to showcase a classic hit from the group this week. We go back to 1989 for Shenandoah's very first #1 hit "The Church On Cumberland Road".

I have to tell you up front I am not much of a "Family Christmas Special" watcher. I just don't get much into the whole hot chocolate, warm feeling listening to Christmas songs thing. Only one major release this weekend and it's a chick flick about soccer. I will try to keep an open mind though.
We all make mistakes in the media, so far be it from me to fault another media source for an honest mishap. This however is something you would thin could only happen on April Fool's Day, or during the first radio airing of, "War of the Worlds".
Last year I put up a couple of videos of a couple of guys who went out on black Friday and asked store employees where to find completely imaginary items. Very funny stuff. This year I found a couple of different guys who took a different angle to messing with shoppers on the busiest shopping day.
Ever since his days as Doogie Houser M.D. we all knew Neil Patrick Harris was awesome. This fact became even more clear with cameos in the Harold and Kumar movies and him being Barry Stinson on "How I Met Your Mother". Well now we get a peek inside his head as he dreams. NPH dreams in puppet!
