Song Parody

I'm leaving for vacation, but I'm doing it with a smile on my face.  I can thank the incredible teachers and kids at Slingerlands Elementary for that.  Take a listen to this great parody of "Call Me Maybe".

What a tragedy at sea!  But then again, as I've learned from Saturday Night Live and other shows, comedy can come from unfortunate circumstances.  You have to laugh these days or you'll go crazy, correct?  So with that in mind, I present my song about this incident, with apologies to "Little Big Town"

I've always had a great time at least attempting to impersonate one of my favorite country artists, Willie Nelson.  I'm not sure if I sound more like Willie here or George H.W. Bush, but either way, I had a blast recording this. This song rhymes all of the artists coming to the fantastic Taste of Country Music Festival.  Have you gotten your tickets yet?

The kids from Mrs. Reilly's class at the All Saints Academy love the song  "I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas".  Unfortunately, Santa is going to need a part time job, because that's not ALL these kids want!  Take a listen

Wow, I thought for sure after the auto-tuned debates that I shared with you , the Gregory Brothers were done with the election. Thankfully they have just given us the funniest yet!

I'm in big "doo doo" at home - trust me.  We're down to the wire now, and I forgot to stock up on the dreaded D batteries.  Are you in the same boat?  Then sing along with Richie (lyrics included)

When Lisa Vosburgh, the Music Teacher and Mary Sweet, the 4th Grade Teacher at FFCS heard that The Sean + Richie Show was heading into town, they got together and created a song for us!

Every Tuesday night I host Country Line Dancing and fun at the Ballroom on Sunset Dr. in Latham.  This past Tuesday, Richie Phillips hit the floor.  However, he wasn't dancing, he was rhyming!

This never made the radio show.  We were too busy taking calls for "Open Line, Say What's On Your Mind Friday". But I wanted to do a little ditty about the news of the past week, so here you go

These people at the Adirondack Corvette Club LOVE their cars.  The only thing they're not thrilled about is having them parked on the Twin Bridges due to road construction.  I tried to ease their pain (and now possibly yours) with a little "construction sing-along".  Enjoy!

Baldness is no fun.  I miss my advancing hairline.  I'm kind of sensitive about it, but a friend of mine had an idea for a song parody about this very subject.  All he had was the title, but it made me laugh so hard that I decided to "lighten up" and go with it.  Results to follow.
